Bellum, Itinerantur 7th, 1194 (Continued)

We leave without issue, Ralzer locks the portal, and Sigmund word of recalls us to Silverdale.

Iustitia, Itinerantur 8th, 1194

We head back to Halzer’s lab. The area is much darker now and the tingling feeling is stronger than last time. Ishtar believes the plane of shadow may be seeping in somehow.

While investigating the area, several greater shadows emerge and a nightwalker later joins the fray. During the fight, the nightwalker asks Ty if Xhal’ith is still around.

Ralzer is able to activate the portal and get us back to the node core. The custodian recognizes everyone except Ralzer. He says that he does not detect the same, his life force is different.

We ask about using the harmonic key and are told that our options for it are stabilize, harmonize, synchronize, and invoke. He tells us that we can use the key on a local or global scale. On a global scale, it will reactivate the lattice network, but will take many years. On a local scale, it will repair this node. We opt to repair the node core.

The custodian tells us that this will take something from each of us, but he does not know the exact effect. At least one person needs to do this, but we can all contribute as a team, which we choose to do. The ritual creates a bright glow in each of our chests; we hear a humming that synchronizes, and then finishes. The room now looks to be repairing itself.

We plan our next moves. We will focus on one of the leylines and see if fixing it does anything, starting with the architect ruins in the swamp near Hallendren’s Deep.

We word of recall to Silverdale first and check out the monolith that we toppled. Ishtar earth glides around and does find a leyline concentration, but it’s very deep. There are no structures or anything like that nearby to use the key on.

To save time, we teleport to Hallendren’s deep. We arrive without issue, but Ralzer does have the feeling of being watched. We then make our way back to the architect’s complex. We look around for a while and try to move that immovable orb. We find nothing of note.
